More information
In July 2014 the Foundation entered a period of review and began to clarify our aims and objectives for our future programme of work.
As part of that review, we want to engage in dialogue with artists, arts organisations and the managers and producers who support the work of other practitioners living and working in our area of benefit. As the initial stage of that process, we would like to invite representatives from arts organisations and local managers and producers to talk to us about their current partnerships with artists in the region and to explore with us how the Foundation might support the work of those and other artists in the future.
The parameters surrounding these discussions are as follows:
- we have up to £15,000 per year available for our awards programme
- we are only able to support artists living and working full or part-time in our area of benefit
- the Foundation is run by a Board of Trustees who give their time on a voluntary basis
The focus of our discussion will be what comes next for the Foundation rather than what we have delivered in the past. By the end of the session we hope to have gathered a bank of information that will help us to make our offer more fit-for-purpose. A summary report about our discussions will be made available online after the event.
Please note that attendance at the workshop is not a prerequisite for making a future application to the St Hugh’s Foundation for the Arts, and will not impact upon the results of any future short listing of applications.
To register, please email our Administrator Sue Hawes on sthughscharity@gmail.com with your name, organisation, contact details (email and phone) and any dietary requirements by 30th October 2015.
