Josie Moon, is a writer, musician and theatre maker based in Grimsby. Josie applied for Artists Respond funding in 2021 with the intent to dedicate time for thinking and writing around ideas of “coercion and jingoism” and her “response to what has happened during the pandemic.”

Hull based Artists Respond 2020 recipient, Lydia Caprani rejuvenates Hull’s street scene by creating and installing decorative tiles in public spaces. Drawing from her own designs rooted in pattern and folk-art, she also uses patterns embedded within the City’s architecture.

Lynsey Powles is a well-known Lincolnshire graffiti artist but has always been fascinated by the miniature. Her application to St Hughs Foundation for the Arts in 2020 gave her the opportunity to immerse herself in the process of creating miniature dioramas in five different locations.
