2026 Claire Peasnall Award

Attention artists working in painting and drawing

Thanks to the generosity of the Peasnall family St Hugh's are again offering the Claire Peasnall Memorial Award for 2026

This £1,200 award is specifically for those working in painting and/ or drawing and has traditionally been used to develop an artist's practice or projects through travel. Trustees always enjoy reading of the adventures had as a result - in recent years successful applicants have explored Portugual, Parma, the Orkneys and Budapest.

To apply please complete the one page application form on the Awards page of the website, https://www.sthughsfoundation.co.uk/awards and email it to sthughscharity@gmail.com by the 30 September 2026.

The successful applicant will be notified by the end of October.
