2009 Award ProgrammeAdvance InformationThe St Hugh’s Foundation’s Trustees are inviting applications for project funding for the year 2009. The focus this year will be on individual awards. The Commissioning Awards will be available again in 2009. The Foundation aims to encourage innovation in arts practice, policy and management in its area of benefit. This leaflet gives information about the kinds of proposals we are seeking, who is eligible to apply, and how to apply. The Trustees can only consider applications within these programmes. The Foundation does not give grants or other assistance in support of other arts activities, attendance at academic courses, or charitable causes, however worthy; nor does it duplicate, supplement or replace the responsibilities of public bodies. Individual Awards Programme 2009Application procedureAll applicants must complete the relevant Application Cover Sheet (which can be found at the foot of the relevant award information page) and provide the additional information set out in the Application Requirements, which are attached to it. Completed applications must be received at the Foundation’s registered office not later than noon on 1st May 2009. Trustees will short-list the proposals they wish to pursue from all eligible applications at their meeting in late-June/early July, and short-listed applicants will be notified in July. Unsuccessful applicants will also be informed at this stage. Those short-listed will be invited to an interview with Trustees at their meeting in October/November, when they will have an opportunity to present and discuss their proposals individually. Decisions will be announced shortly after that date. All communications with the Foundation must be made by post
